Even people who don’t acknowledge God are using the resources, intelligence, and creativity He has given. We are made in the image of a Creator—so creating, building, and innovating is in our spiritual DNA.

Don’t Place Your Identity in Your Success

While hard work matters, our identity must never be tied to our accomplishments. When we root our worth in achievement, we open ourselves to pride, comparison, and burnout.

Our value comes from Christ alone. We work diligently not to prove ourselves, but to respond in gratitude to the worth He has already given us.

The Bigger Picture: Systemic Barriers and Stewardship

This message also challenges the simplified narrative of “just work hard and you’ll succeed.” Not everyone starts from the same place. Systemic barriers can make success more difficult for some, and ignoring that reality is neither compassionate nor biblical.
